The last first day of school in my undergraduate career - knock on wood. In order to make it to my first class of the day Danielle and I had to wake up at 6 AM!!! By 7:40 we were on the Macdonald Campus and the sun was just starting to rise. It was truly inhuman and I plan on not waking up that early again for as long as I can stand it; I am in no way a morning person.
The only thing that could make me feel better was a good ole CC breakfast special, mmmm eggs, potatoes and coffee.
Remainder of the day went well enough, all I had was two classes today Mathematical Methods in Ecology and Insect Ecology, and not a lab in sight. The most exciting moment of my day was losing and then hours later finding the roll of toilet paper I had brought from home to nurse my cold. There is something special about finding something where you didn't know you left it.
