So today I was stuck in a bit of a conundrum, wtf to wear? I know it does seem shallow but you'd wonder too if it was f-ing balmy outside (at least by Montreal winter standards) and your winter boots were as waterproof as a sponge. As far as the waterproofing goes, yes they do have stuff you can spray your boots and no I didn't use it this year.
As anyone knows once the temperature gets to around zero, the snow, ice, etc starts to melt and form large puddles on roads, sidewalks and the like. My boots still wet from the day before were not going to be adequate for the task at hand. Drastic measures needed to be taken.
Considering it's been chilly I hadn't worn a skirt in quite a while. This is something I was craving and the warm weather only made the hungry grow! Long story short, the only pair of boots I had that would keep my feet dry happen to be my rubber boots. And yes I decided to wear a skirt with trusty rubber. It didn't look incredible, but it also wasn't completely ridiculous either. And my feet are drier than an elephant's elbow so I'm definitely not complaining.
